Cause: Passage wilhelmshaven for patrol & return. bombed by allied aircraft. was fouled in the old net barrage. driven ashore & unable to refloat. she was attacked by hm drifters 'majesty' & 'paramount' aided by warships 'feasible' & 'gipsy', several crew being killed. (close's 'naval war in n. sea' & sibi).
