The Shipping Announcements serve to provide information such as the condition of the inland shipping infrastructure (mainly bridges and locks), failure of navigation aids, temporary blockages of waterway sections or other types of infrastructure, works, changes in water level and water depth information, ice information and weather reports. .

The shipping notices on this page are collected and published by Rijkswaterstaat from national and international waterway authorities. All messages are temporary: as soon as the situation to which a shipping message relates has passed, the message will be withdrawn and will also disappear from this page.
