LIES NE/SW AND STANDS 15FT ABOVE SEABED. SCOUR DEPTH 83FT. WRECK LIES BETWEEN 090DEGS, 1,100FT, AND 160DEGS, 700FT, FROM THE WRECK BUOY, WHICH IS 1 CABLE, 225DEGS FROM WK. (HMS SHARPSHOOTER, 1.12.51). AMEND TO WK 10FMS 3FT.

- NM 49/52. H932/53 30.1.53 EXAM'D IN 512451N, 014017E. A THIN SHARP SPIKE STICKING UP 22FT GIVING A STRONG A/S CONTACT. SHALLOW SCOUR WAS FOUND NEARBY. LEAST E/S 58FT. SCOUR 12FT DEEP. GEN DEPTH 72FT. SEABED IS HUMMOCKY AND OF SAND, SHELL AND MUD. (HMS FRANKLIN, 29.1.53). H4988/71 3.1.71 EXAM'D IN 512456N, 014019E [OGB] USING HIFIX [2 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 21.4 [70FT] IN GEN DEPTH 22MTRS. SCOUR 24.3MTRS. SEABED FLAT. GIVES GOOD SONAR RETURN FROM NE AT 900YDS. POOR FROM SW & NO CONTACT FROM SE. APPEARS DISPERSED OVER A LARGE AREA.
