Cause: Built in 1937 by lithgows ltd, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by eagle oil & shipping co ltd, london. eight cylinder oil engine of 503hp, single shaft. passage hull for houston. in ballast. mined. six men lost. later dispersed by explosives.
