Name: HMS DUCHESS OF HAMILTON

Length 76.2 meter, width: 9.1 meter, draught: 3, tonnage 553 ton

Cause: Built in 1890 by w denney & sons, dumbarton. originally owned by the caledonian steam packet co ltd. two cylinder diagonal compound engines of 266 nhp for 16 knots. requisitioned by the admiralty as an auxiliary minesweeper from 3.1915. struck a mine and sank off longsand.
