Cause: Built in 1916 by cochran & sons ltd, selby. originally owned by moodys & kelly. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 89hp, single shaft. 1 x 12 pdr gun. hired 1916-1919 then returned to owners. hired again from 11.1939 as an armed patrol trawler. convered to minesweeper in 1941. sank following collision with hms stella rigel off harwich. (colledge & sibi).
