Cause: ex-herman menzell, ex-dunav. built in 1896 by j blumer & co, sunderland. owned at time of loss by the scandanavian shipping co ltd. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 153hp, single shaft. passage blyth for sheerness. cargo coal and coke. struck mine laid by uc-7. one man lost.
