THERE WAS A BREAK IN THE SHIP AND THE REST OF THE HULL COULD NOT BE FOUND. MIDSHIP SECTION ESTIMATED TO BE 50MTRS IN LENGTH WITH A FURTHER 20MTRS ALMOST COMPLETELY BURIED IN THE SAND. (R HICKINBOTTOM). HH100/351/19 11.10.02 HH100/351/19 11.10.02 DIVED, SHIP'S BELL WITH NAME CORMORANT 1900 RECOVERED. EXTENSIVELY COVERED BY SANDBANK, ONLY PARTIALLY EXPOSED.
