Cause: Ex war viper, ex cabotia '19. built in 1918 by harland & wolff, belfast. owned at time of loss by court line. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 518hp, single shaft. passage rosario for leith. cargo 7100 tons wheat. struck a mine laid by german aircraft. (ww2sl & sibi).
