Cause: Built in 1947 by a/b gotaverken, gothenberg. owned at time of loss by a/b svenska ostasiatiska kompaniet. sank following a collision with mv 'fortune', in fog, whilst on passage gothenberg to calcutta. crew recovered by ss 'arthur wright'. (dods & shipwreck index of the british isles).
