Cause: Built in 1956 by a g 'weser' werk seebeck, bremerhaven. owned at time of loss by farsa cia nav sa. passage dunkirk for alexandria. proceeded into area marked by a wreck marking vessel and a ring of wreck buoys. struck wreck of s tanker 'texaco caribbean' and sank with loss of all 22 hands. (msd).
