Length 57.3 meter, width: 5.5 meter, draught: 3.4, tonnage 636 ton

Cause: built prior to the outbreak of ww1 by germaniawerft, kiel. oil engines of 225 bhp, twin shaft. during second patrol snagged submarine nets at the n end of the varne. this was observed by a hms drifter roburn and hms ghurka and hms maori attacked. the boat was damaged and with the switchboard on fire, surfaced. all crew recovered.
