Cause: Built of steel in 1901 by j p rennoldson & son of south shields. owned at time of loss by fisher renwick steamers. triple expansion engine, single screw. passage southampton for the tyne. in ballast. crew of 15, 1 passenger. master: captain r bewen. sank after collision with ss 'indralema' of liverpool.
