Cause: sunk off dover by german aircraft whilst en route from seaham to portsmouth. (ll ww2). vessel, built 1908 by stettiner oderwerke, was bombed & sunk by german aircraft, whilst en route seaham to portsmouth. owned at time of loss by ellerman's wilson line. 6 lives lost. (dods).
