Name: DOTTEREL

Length 82.3 meter, width: 11 meter, draught: 6.1, tonnage 1596 ton
Load: general and mixed goods

Cause: vessel, built in 1904 by swan, hunter & wigham richardson and owned at the time of loss by cork steamship co., struck a mine and sank 4.75m n by e of boulogne pier whilst en route from manchester to dunkirk. five lives lost, captain survived. (ll ww1 & dods).
