Cause: built in 1940 by atlas-werke a g, bremen. owned at time of loss by w schuchmann. passage bremen for cork. sank following a collision with ss canuk trader in thick fog. canuk trader kept her bow in the side of flachee until all crew were taken off. none were injured. (msd).
