Cause: Built in 1905 by vickers ltd, barrow-in-furness. 16 cylinder horizontally opposed oil engine of 600bhp, single shaft. passage dover for exercies and return. sank following a collision with ss 'amerika' (23,000gt). 15 men lost, one recovered. (colledge & sibi).
