Cause: built in 1953 by the burntisland shipbuilding co. owned at time of loss by constantine shipping company ltd. passage blythe to shoreham by sea. cargo coal and general. 26.7.56 foundered off dungeness 26.7.56 but drifted upside down before sinking off dover on 31.7.56. (i todd). 20.6.56 sank 20.6.56. (larn).
