Cause: ex-banka. built in 1919 by akt burmeister & wain, kobenhavn. owned at time of loss by united baltic corporation ltd. one boiler, triple expansion engine, single shaft. passage seveill for london. sank after detonating a mine laid by german aircraft. 2 lives lost. later dispersed by explosives as it formed navigational hazard. (sibi, ww2sl & llww2).
