THERE IS 18FT OF WATER OVER IT AT LW. (M J COKER, DYMCHURCH, 26.4.76). H4199/78 9.8.78 NOT LOCATED, NOT SEARCHED FOR. CONSIDERED PROBABLY EXISTS CLOSE TO ABOVE POSN. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 35/78). H1310/83/20 18.4.83 MASS OF TANGLED WRECKAGE COVERS LARGE AREA IN 510538N, 011440E [OGB]. KNOWN LOCALLY THE 'BRANDY BOAT'. PROBABLY SS EMPIRE LOUGH. (P G WEATHERLEY, 12.4.83). INS AS WK 5MTRS. BR STD. HH090/685/01 25.10.96 EXAM'D 24.9.96 IN 510531.7N, 011439.9E [WGD] USING DGPS. SWEPT CLEAR 12.2, FOUL NOT OBTAINED DUE TO SHELVING BOTTOM. LEAST E/S DEPTH 12.5 IN GEN DEPTH 13.9 MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 1.5MTRS. COVERS AREA 10MTRS BY 10MTRS. LARGE MAGNETIC ANOMALY. ONE SMALL PIECE WITH SMALL AREA OF DEBRIS ADJACENT TO THE E. (NP 1016, HI 685). AMEND TO SW 12.2MTRS IN REVISED POSN. BR STD. 24.1.11 LOCATED 2010 IN 5105.538N, 0114.662E [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 11.88MTRS. LENGTH 35MTRS, WIDTH 9MTRS, HT 1.5MTRS. MAY BE THE AREA OF WRECKAGE NOW COVERED WITH SEDIMENT.
