Cause: built in 1967 by n f fulton marine eng co, ruisbroek. owned at time of loss by s a commerciale y de cabotaje. six cylinder oil engine of 525hp, single shaft. machinery by angolo-belgian co, gent. passage rouen for the tyne. cargo silver sand. hatch tarpaulin ripped, took on water and eventually sank after being abandoned in near gale conditions. crew recovered.
