Length 38.4 meter, width: 7.9 meter, draught: 3.4, tonnage 312 ton

Cause: whilst being towed in fine weather by `thv vestal' was in collision with polish trawler snardy. later sank.

(SOISS, 22.12.77). BR STD. H3805/72 18.6.81 LEAST DEPTH REPD 15.5MTRS. (HMS BULLDOG, SIGNAL DTD 12.6.81).

- NM 1479/81. H1944/80 23.4.82 EXAM'D 15.6.81 IN 534446N, 003541E [OGB] USING HIFIX [2 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 14.2 IN GEN DEPTH 29.2MTRS. NO SCOUR. HYDROSEARCH VERTICAL HEIGHT 14.9MTRS. INTACT, APPARENTLY A TRAWLER, LYING 097/277DEGS, BOWS W. LENGTH 38.8MTRS, BEAM 10.3MTRS. MAST STILL STANDING AND POSSIBLY A TRAWL NET IS WRAPPED AROUND IT. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 12).

- NM 1147/82. 22.6.88 REPD TO BE A LIGHT SHIP, STANDING UPRIGHT. (E KIRKPATRICK, TELECON 22.6.88). 16.4.93 POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED AS LIGHTSHIP NO 83 AFTER SALVAGE OF SHIPS BELL. WRECK FOUND TO BE VIRTUALLY INTACT LYING UPRIGHT WITH ONLY DOME OF LIGHT MISSING. (R J COLLINSON, TELECON) 3.4.00 WK INTACT AND UPRIGHT ONLY TOP SECTION OF LIGHT MISSING. EVIDENCE OF COLLISION DAMAGE ON STBD SIDE. WELL ENCRUSTED WITH ANEMONES. (DIVER MAGAZINE, APRIL 2000). SEP 2016/000053291 6.10.16 EXAM'D 10.4.16; IN 5344.783N, 0035.554E [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 16.7MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 29MTRS, LENGTH 38.5MTRS, WIDTH 9.4MTRS, HEIGHT 12.5MTRS, ORIENTATION 276/096 DEGS. WRECK SITS INTACT ON ITS HULL WITH STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY. (MMT, HI 1473). AMEND DW 16.7MTRS IN REVISED POSITION.
