Cause: Built in 1906 by cook, welton & gemmel, beverley. owned at time of loss by onward fishing co, grimsby. one boiler, triple expansion engine, single shaft. passage hull for fishing and return. sank following a collision with british ss empire rapier (7177 tons). sank within 10 minutes. crew recovered.
