Cause: built in 1906 by w hamilton & co ltd, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by scandanavian shipping co, newport. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 139hp, single shaft. machinery by d rowan & co, glasgow. passage hull for sunderland. in ballast. sank following a collision with swedish ss crimdon.
