Cause: ex-batna '35, ex-else, ex-dr adolf schmidt. built in 1910 by ghelos & co. owned at time of loss by mme maria n lagoutis & evan-frd. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 177hp, single shaft. passage sfax for aberdeen. cargo espart grass. collided with wk of canada, the third vessel to do so.
