H1133/64 14.4.64 AMEND TO STPA IN 534906N, 000336W. (PARTY FROM SANDSTONE, 1/64). BR STD. H3805/72 28.2.78 LOCAL DIVER, MR J BODDY, CONFIRMS THIS WK IS BEACONSFIELD. (SOISS, HI 54/77). H1944/80 27.4.82 AMEND TO ST, D 3MTRS, IN 534905N, 000340W. BR STD. H1310/83/2 13.1.83 KNOWN LOCALLY AS EARL OF BEACONSFIELD & BELIEVED TO HAVE SUNK IN 1867. A VERY SUBSTANTIAL WK, ABOUT 300FT LONG, & STILL IN REMARKABLY GOOD CONDITION WITH MUCH OF THE WOODEN DECKING STILL PRESENT. IT LIES PARALLEL TO THE SHORE WITH BOW SECTION SHOWING ABOUT 6FT AT LOW WATER AND STERN COMING TO WITHIN 2 TO 3FT OF THE SURFACE. MANY OF THE RIBS ALONG LENGTH OF HULL ALSO COME CLOSE TO THE SURFACE. (D G BAILEY). NCA. H1944/80 26.4.82 LOCATED 15.6.81 & EXAM'D VISUALLY. FIXED USING SEXTANT & RADAR RANGE WITH COMPASS BEARING FROM SHIP, LOCATION OF WHICH DETERMINED USING HIFIX, IN 534905N, 000340W [OGB]. WK HAS WOODEN HULL WITH STEEL FITTINGS. LIES N/S & DRIES 3MTRS. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 12). RETAIN AS ST DRIES 3MTRS IN REVISED POSN. BR STD. SEP 2011/000131153 2.8.11 LOCATED IN 5349.103N, 0003.672W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH DRIES 1.77MTRS. (NETSURVEY, HN DTD 12.7.11 FOR HI 1358). AMEND ST DRIES 1.8MTRS IN REVISED POSN. BR STD. 10.10.11 LENGTH 110MTRS, WIDTH 36MTRS, HT 4.5MTRS. LIES 160/340 DEGS. (NETSURVEY, HI 1358). GENERALLY INTACT WITH MAST LYING AT ITS SIDE.
