Cause: built of iron in 1863 by henderson & coulborn & co, renfrew. owned at time of loss by w rawson & j robinson of hull. one boiler, compound expansion engine of 90hp, single shaft. machinery by gilbert & cooper, hull. passage hull for stockton-on-tees. cargo rails and iron ore. sank following collision with ss loughbrow (733gt) in calm conditions. 14 men lost.
