Cause: Ex-rhenanai. built in 1904 by bremer vulkan, vegesack for italian state railways. requisitioned by the italian government and renamed feltre. quaduple exapansion engine of 387hp, screw propulsion. torpedoed and sunk by ub-32.

(B WINFIELD, 26.7.86). H1310/87/15 20.5.87 NOW IDENTIFIED AS THE FELTRE, EX RHENANIA. ALSO KNOWN LOCALLY AS CAP MOREL, OR CATTERMOLE, BUT THESE ARE THOUGHT CORRUPTIONS OF THE NAME OF A LAND FEATURE USED BY FISHERMEN TO LOCATE THE WK. (A GODFREY, 11.3.87). SEP 2016/000053291 3.10.16 EXAM'D 10.3.16; IN 5402.369N, 0001.745E [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 23.62MTRS, GEN DEPTH 33MTRS. LENGTH 135.4MTRS, WIDTH 34.2MTRS, HT 11.3MTRS, ORIENTATION 165/345 DEGS. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY, WK BROKEN UP. (MMT, HI 1473, H525_6470). AMEND DW 23.5MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
