LEAST E/S DEPTH 41 IN GEN DEPTH 46MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 5MTRS. LENGTH 60MTRS, WIDTH 16MTRS. LIES 150/330 DEGS. FAIRLY INTACT WK LYING FULLY PROUD OF THE SEABED WITH DEBRIS LESS THAN 10MTRS TO THE SE. (GARDLINE, HI 730). PROBABLY UPRIGHT. BR STD. HH100/351/21 4.6.04 DIVED IN THE 1980S AND AN ENGINE MAKER'S PLATE WAS RECOVERED INSCRIBED 'N.E.M.E. SUNDERLAND' AND DATED 1870. THIS HAS NOW BEEN MATCHED TO THE 'HOUGHTON'. HAS A DOMED TYPE SINGLE BOILER AND AN EARLY COMPOUND ENGINE WHICH IS STILL IN POSITION AND UPRIGHT. PROP SHAFT IS VERY BENT, PROBABLY DUE TO TRAWL DAMAGE. AN OLD, DECAYED WRECK. (A C JACKSON & C A RACEY). NCA. SEP 2016/000007250 09.06.16 EXAM'D 20.02.16 IN 5417.773N, 0015.676W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 38.35RS IN GEN DEPTH 45MTRS. LENGTH 61.6MTRS, WIDTH 14.1MTRS, HEIGHT 7.3MTRS, ORIENTATION 338/158. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY, PARTIALLY INTACT, ONLY CENTRE RETAINS STRUCTURE, DEBRIS FIELD SURROUNDING. (EGS, HI 1472). AMEND TO NDW 38MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
