NCA HH100/351/06 8.4.93 WK IN 535536N, 000436E DIVED. IDENTIFIED AS UC 39 BY INSCRIPTION ON PROPELLER. LIES WITH A STBD LIST AND IS STARTING TO BREAK UP. STANDS 2MTRS HIGH. (G WADSWORTH, 1.3.93). HH100/351/07 23.7.93 DIVED ON 1.7.93 IN 535531N, 000442.5E USING GPS. STANDS 4MTRS HIGH. LIES 010/190 DEG, BOW S, WITH STBD LIST AND DAMAGED BOW. 6 MINE CHUTES VISIBLE FOR'D OF CONNING TOWER POSN. CONNING TOWER ITSELF LIES ON SEABED. APPARENTLY SALVAGE WORK HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT - PROPELLERS AND DECK GUN MISSING (ONE PROP IS IN BRIDLINGTON HARBOUR MUSEUM).
