FLOOD VALVE HAS DATE "1915". (E NODDER, 8.9.81). H1310/87/15 11.3.87 WAS SALVAGED IN SITU UP 400FT CLIFFS. V LITTLE REMAINS BUT CAN BE SEEN AT LW AND IDENTIFIABLE AS HAVING BEEN A SUBMARINE. NOTHING STANDS PROUD OF SURROUNDING BOULDERS. (A GODFREY, 11.3.87). HH090/730/01 19.11.97 REMAINS WERE OBSERVED AT LW AMONGST ROCKS ASHORE. NOT POSSIBLE TO INVESTIGATE DUE TO ROCKS. NOT A HAZARD TO NAVIGATION. (GARDLINE, HI 730). NCA - FOR FILING ONLY.
