Cause: built in 1904 by bergens m.v. bergen. owned at time of loss by the shipping controller. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 122hp, single shaft. passage newcastle-upon-tyne for cherbourg. cargo 1400 tons coal. armed with 1 13pdr stern gun and 1 ha gun. torpedoed on stbd side by ub-108. no crew lost.
