Cause: 29.5.18 built by blohm & voss, hamburg. oil engines of 140bhp, twin shaft. passage zeebrugge for war patrol and return. two bow tubes & 1 x 5cm gun. during passage back to port detonated a mine in the dover barrage and sank with all hands. dived by the rn on 29.5.18. body of co discovered in conning tower. divers recovered confidential books, code books and cyphers. crew of 22 lost.
