Cause: built 1916 by short bros., sunderland with 2 boilers, triple-expansion engine of 156nhp, single shaft. owned at time of loss by ellingsen & johannesen. passage rouen for blyth. torpedoed by ub-29 whilst at anchor near the corton lightship. managed to steam 10.5m nne before foundering off the n end of the corton sand.
