Cause: built in 1906 by palmers co ltd, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by the tyne-tees steam shipping co ltd. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 292 nhp, single shaft. passage newcastle-upon-tyne for london. struck mine laid by uc-6. was taken in tow but later sank. two men lost. (sibi).
