Cause: Built in 1891 by w hamilton & co, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by r taylor & sons ltd. one boiler, compound expansion engine of 211hp, single shaft. machinery by g clarke ltd, sunderland. passage rotterdam for hull. cargo coal. sank after striking a submerged object close to the n race bank buoy.
