Cause: Built in 1930 by cowpen drydock & sb co, blyth. owned at time of loss by scheepswaart-en steenkolen maats nv. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 270hp, single shaft. machinery aft by ne marine eng co ltd, newcastle-upon-tyne. passage london for blyth. in ballast. bombed and sunk by german aircraft while in convoy. 13 men lost.
