Cause: Built in 1924 by swan hunter & whigham. onwed at time of loss by cory colliers ltd. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 247hp, single shaft. passage rochester for blyth. in ballast. bombed and sunk by german aircraft.

SEP 2020/000100123 21.5.20 EXAM'D 18.02.19; IN 5259.964N, 0149.148E [WGD]. LEAST WCD DEPTH 19.91MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 27MTRS, LENGTH 94.3MTRS, WIDTH 14.9MTRS, HEIGHT 8.9MTRS, ORIENTATION 143/323 DEGS. SCOUR LENGTH 5.6MTRS, WIDTH 16.2MTRS, 2MTRS DEEP, TOWARDS 043 DEGS. WRECK IS UPRIGHT WITH LIST TO STARBOARD. CENTRAL PART PF THE WRECK IS INTACT AND THE ENGINE BLOCK AND TOW BOILERS ARE VISIBLE. BOW HAS COLLAPSED AND DISINTEGRATED. STERN HAS BROKEN AWAY AND HAS A STRONG LIST TO STARBOARD. (MERITAITO, HI 1580). AMEND DW 19.9MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
