Cause: Built in 1924 by vickers ltd, barrow-in-furness. owned at time of loss by w fenwich france & co. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 203hp, single shaft. passage london for sunderland. in ballast. bombed and sunk by german aircraft.

TOP OF MAINMAST NOW HAS 40FT OVER IT AT MLWS. FOREMAST PROBABLY STILL DANGEROUS. SWEEPING NOT YET COMPLETE. (FOIC YARMOUTH, 6.7.41). INS AS NDW IN 525737N, 015224E.

- NM 2883/41. H5580/68 9.8.68 LARGE WK LOCATED 17.11.67 IN 525740N, 015319E [OGB] USING HIFIX/3 [2 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 70 IN GEN DEPTH 96FT. STANDS ABOVE SURROUNDING SANDWAVES GIVING EXCELLENT SONAR RESPONSE. 300FT LONG AND LYING 130/310 DEG. (HMS MYRMIDON). AMEND TO WK 12FMS.
