Cause: Built in 1878 by blackwood & gordon, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by james currie & co, leith. one boiler, compound expansion engine of 98 nhp, single shaft. passage middlesbrough for fecamp. struck sunken wreck and was beached. later towed off but sank while still under tow. (sibi).
