Cause: built of steel in 1903 by blyth sb co. owned at the time of loss by dixon, sample & co (dods), by swan line (sibi). machinery by blair & co ltd, stockton-on-tees. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 219 hp, single shaft. passage hartlepool for london. dragged anchors and went ashore. crew recovered by breeches buoy. (sibi).
