Cause: Built in 1940 by vickers armstrong, the tyne. a hunt class (group 1) vessel. s turbines for 19000bhp, quarduple shaft. four x 4 inch guns, 1 x 4.2 prd, 20mm aa guns. torpedoed by e-boat s.30 then sank after an explosion. 104 lives lost.
