AN AREA ABOUT 45FT X 15FT OF HORIZONTAL PLATING IS UNCOVERED. ABOVE THIS FOUR MAIN HEAPS OF WRECKAGE MAINLY TORN PLATING WERE FOUND. EASTERLY HEAP STANDING ABOUT 12FT HIGH. A 3.5INCH DIAMETER ROD OF IRON 10FT LONG WAS RECOVERED, MATERIAL BEING VERY HEAVILY GRAINED & CORRODED. (PLA LTR 19.12.66). H926/62 6.12.66 INS SW 3FMS 3FT. (HMS ENTERPRISE),
