Cause: Built in 1938 by robb, leith. owned at time of loss by the royal navy. purpose built as a minesweeper, based on a trawler hull. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 950 nhp, single shaft. 1 x 4 inch, 2 x .303 inch machine guns. mined in thames estuary. (ww2 sl & sibi).
