Cause: Built in 1930 by lithlow sb co ltd, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by the british tanker co ltd. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 430hp, single shaft. machinery aft by rankin & blackmore ltd, greenock. passage the isle of grain for hull. in ballast. bombed & sunk by german aircraft. eight men lost.
