SMALL WRECK ON A LEVEL BOTTOM. APPROX 40MTRS X 20MTRS. LYING NE/SW. NO SCOUR. NOT BROKEN UP. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 31/76). BR STD. HH090/667/01 20.12.95 NOT LOCATED BY DCS3 ON 100MTR RANGE SCALE AND MAGNETOMETER. (OCEONICS, HI 667). NCA. HH10/351/18 29.8.02 DIVED IN 5156.206N, 0146.416E [WGD] USING GPS. THE REMAINS OF A SMALL WOODEN VESSEL WITH A SINGLE DIESEL ENGINE. VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE WOODEN HULL HAS GONE WITH JUST THE ENGINE AND METAL FITTINGS LEFT. WRECK IS ONLY 10MTRS BY 5MTRS AND STANDS 1.5MTRS CLEAR OF THE SEABED. MACHINE GUN BULLETS FOUND NEAR THE BOW, SO THE VESSEL WAS PROBABLY ARMED. (B HICKINBOTTOM, LTR DTD 12.7.02). AMEND POSN. BR STD. SEP 2015/000083463 17.7.16 EXAM'D 23.2.16 IN 5156.224N, 0146.409E [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 25.3MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 26MTRS. LENGTH 11.2MTRS, WIDTH 5.8MTRS, HT 1.7MTRS, ORIENTATION 000/180. POOR MAGNETIC ANOMALY. WK IS A RELATIVELY SMALL FEATURE, WELL DEGRADED AND CONSISTS FO A MOUND STANDING 1M ABOVE THE SEABED. (MMT, HI 1474). AMEND DW 25MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
