(HMS EGERIA, HI 63/78). INS AS WK 17.9MTRS.

LIES 090/270 DEGS APPROX. GOOD MAGNETOMETER DEFLECTION. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 682). HH090/753/01 20.10.97 NOT LOCATED BY DCS3 OR MAGNETOMETER. TWO DISTINCT SIDE CONTACTS LOCATED BY DCS3 IN THE LISTED POSN. CLOSE SOUNDING REVEALED THESE TO BE THE EDGES OF A STEEP SIDED TRENCH, RUNNING N/S FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED METRES. NO MAGNETIC ANOMALY WHATEVER WAS NOTED. CONSIDERED TO BE A BOTTOM FEATURE.
