GEN DEPTH OF THE SEABED DRYING 1.4-2.2MTRS. DEPTH OF SCOUR 0.5MTRS. A VISUAL EXAMINATION WAS CARRIED OUT AT LW AND THE DETERMINATION OF THE HEIGHT WAS MADE BY OBSERVING WHEN THE WK WAS COVERED BY THE RISING TIDE. NATURE OF THE SEABED SAND AND CLAY. THE WK IS LYING IN A SLIGHT DEPRESSION ABOUT 0.5MTRS DEEP AND ABOUT 200MTRS DIAMETER. THE WK STANDS ABOUT 0.5MTRS ABOVE THE BED OF THIS DEPRESSION AND MOST OF THE STARBOARD GUNWALE, A MOORING POST AND SOME OF THE DECK CAN BE SEEN BUT MOST OF IT IS BENEATH THE SAND. WK 'SWEPT' ON 23.9.75 BY M/L MAPLIN. (PLA WRECK REPORT NUMBER 28/75 DATED 23.9.75)
