Cause: built in 1911 by northumberland sb co ltd, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by sunderland ss co ltd. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 372hp, single shaft. machinery by richardson's, westgarth & co, ltd sunderland. passage the tyne for genoa. cargo coal. torpedoed and sunk by ub 18.

LEAST E/S DEPTH 39.9 IN GEN DEPTH 47MTRS. DCS3 HT 4.7MTRS, LENGTH 130MTRS. LIES 140/320 DEG ON SMOOTH GRAVEL SEABED. SONAR INDICATES THAT SCOUR RUNS 160 DEG FROM WK. (HMS EGERIA, HI 64/79). INS AS WK 39MTRS. BR STD. SEP 2016/000053291 12.10.16 EXAM'D 21.3.16; IN 5356.672N, 0013.595E [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 40.73MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 46MTRS, LENGTH 126.5MTRS, WIDTH 25.4MTRS, HEIGHT 6.16MTRS, ORIENTATION 131/311 DEGS. SCOUR DIMENSIONS LENGTH 30MTRS, TOWARD 160 DEGS. WRECK LIES ON ITS PORT SIDE, IS WELL DEGRADED. SHOALEST POINT IS THE CENTRAL SECTION WHERE IS HULL IS SUPPORTED WITH UNSEEN ITEMS. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY. (MMT, HI 1473). AMEND NDW 40MTRS IN REVISED POSITION.
