Cause: built of steel in 1929 by cochrane & sons ltd of selby. originally registered at grimsby and owned by consolidated fisheries ltd. single boiler, triple expansion engine of 103 hp, single screw. purchased by the adimralty as a minesweeper in 8.1939. sank after detonating a german mine.
